M. P. Curtin - Signature

Here is the result of working on an insignia of my initials: MPC. These three designs were my favorites. My desk is still reeks of permanent marker fumes from the stack of paper I went through.

I have always been fascinated by insignias, and so for my Signature project, I decided to make my initials the focus, rather than my whole name.

The background is a fabric I have owned for years now -- I included it because in many way it is a flag of sorts for myself.

I desired that the insignia designs would be white on black, so the colors were inverted on photoshop.

For the project I worked with a extra-large Sharpie and 0.1 Micron pens for refining the shapes.
